Each person is unique in their own right, but not everyone engages in self-reflection and turns their imagination into skills. Awanish Singh, a comedian from a small hamlet near Banaras, Ghazipur, is now a well-known Youtuber in India.
He attended St. John’s School for secondary education, Shah Faiz Public School for further education, and eventually pursued a BA.LLB.
Awanish had an interest in acting but was afraid to pursue it because of his family’s wish for him to get a law degree, yet skills are never wasted. During his undergraduate years, Awanish joined the drama club, where his performance was praised by his peers, proving that acting is in his blood! One of his college friends advised that he go to Mumbai and pursue an acting career. Awanish told his friend about his family’s situation, and the two came up with the idea of becoming YouTubers in November 2016, when he launched his own channel. He continued asking people to subscribe to him at first, but he didn’t have any content for his channel.
A turning point came when his first video went viral on YouTube; slowly but steadily, Awanish was on his way to achieving his goals, as he was creating absolutely captivating content. Awanish was aware of his strong points, which included working on the accents of Uttar Pradesh residents.
Awanish gradually grew from 900,000 to 1 million subscribers during the next year, because to its unique content. Awanish was the first Indian Youtuber under the age of one million subscribers in the entertainment sector.
With a creative attitude and a desire to show himself, Awanish did not stop. After gaining renown for his content of Uttar Pradesh’s accent, he now has come up with something new – short filmmaking.
His first short film, based on an uplifting theme, was titled The Life Recall. His followers undoubtedly enjoyed and appreciated the film.
Not only that, but Awanish is continually coming out with innovative stuff, and he currently has 2.3 million YouTube subscribers, 1 million Facebook fans, and 150K Instagram followers.
This was not all about Awanish; he is also an incredible poet and rapper who has worked on his album professionally, after researching and learning beats and is set to release his first song in November.
