A recent incident that has derailed the ship and caused a massive uproar involves contestant Eisha Singh, who was under fire after she made remarks about fellow contestant Karan Veer Mehra. A viral video has surfaced that shows reporters and the media audience questioning Eisha about her actions and the false narratives she created against Karan, including body-shaming and spreading rumors about his personal life. Eisha Singh has called Karan Veer Mehra, particularly about his age and weight, which the media as well as audience have slammed back at. She mocked Karan several times in the Bigg Boss 18 house for being 47 years old and body shamed him many times, which is strictly considered age and body shaming. One of the media members asked her, “Is it a sin to be 47?” referring to her constant criticism of Karan’s age and body, which many felt was disrespectful and uncalled for.
In addition, when Eisha first entered the Bigg Boss house, she had promoted kindness among the contestants, asking everyone to be respectful and understanding towards one another. However, viewers have found that Eisha’s actions have been anything but kind throughout the season. Instead of building meaningful relationships, she was criticized for using underhanded tactics to manipulate the situation, particularly in her interactions with Karan Veer Mehra.
A video of Eisha has gone viral, in which she is described as the “cute, bubbly girl” who managed to set false narratives against other contestants. While she accused Karan of being the one to create drama, it was revealed that she herself had been involved in stirring up conflict. Media was equally harsh, where they made Eisha sit on the hot seat for calling Karan a “2-time divorcee” and spreading all those rubbish about his personal life. In a caustic remark, one of the journalists stated, “You have set most of the narratives. Sitting in someone’s house, you fooled everyone. You said you’re divorced, you’ve been divorced twice. Maybe your friends know you misinterpret meanings, so what should we call you? Chugli Aunty?”
This is after Eisha tried to distort the narrative over a conversation she had with Karan. She had requested Karan to sit besides her. He said, “No way, because he didn’t want to be considered cheap.” The next time, when she told the incident to Rajat Dalal, she twisted it. She made him say, “You are a cheap one.” This really sparked off questioning her integrity and the truth of this girl and got the media after her behavior.
Defending herself, Eisha says she has seen changes in her from day one when she started out in the 14th week of Bigg Boss 18. She states that she wasn’t ever doing all that nonsense with an intent to set half-truth stories and never maligned Karan but actions spake louder.
