‘Equus,’ ‘How to Succeed in Business’

Striving to break liberated from the Harry Potter typecasting, Radcliffe made jokes about his picture in Ricky Gervais’ parody series Extras in a 2006 special spot. The following year, Radcliffe showed his emotional acting chops and something beyond a touch of skin on the Broadway stage in Equus, playing a disturbed adolescent. In 2011, he took on an altogether different section—an ambitious young man—in the musical parody How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

‘The Woman in Black,’ ‘A Young Doctor’s Notebook’

Subsequent to hosting Saturday Night Live in mid 2012, Radcliffe headlined in the gothic frightfulness spine chiller The Woman in Black as a bereft attorney and father who gets stirred up in supernatural difficulty. A trio of films released in 2016 showcased Radcliffe’s desire to push his range as an entertainer: He played a corpse-turned-best companion of a suicidal castaway in Swiss Army Man; showed up as a conniving tech leader in Now You See Me 2; and starred as a FBI specialist attempting infiltrate a racial oppressor bunch in Imperium. That year the entertainer also came back to the stage in the off-Broadway creation of Privacy.

Jungle,’ ‘Miracle Workers’

Alongside starring in the 2017 survival spine chiller Jungle, Radcliffe remained immersed in the theater network with roles in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in 2017 and The Lifespan of a Fact in 2018. In 2019, he came back to the small screen with a leading job in the compilation satire series Miracle Workers, playing a low-level holy messenger assistant to God in its first season.
